Great and stunning location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. Also, there was Clarehall Shopping Centre, set within 10 minutes drive.
Some of the staff were not particularly welcoming.

The convent setting was different, yet very nice. The views from the hotel were pretty. Great place to relax! The room was big with a seperate room. Great for families and pets. Loved the idea of escaping the craziness of Florence city.
You would want to reconsider staying here if you do not have transportation. The hotel is about a mile from the main road and the road leading to the hotel is very steep and very dark at night. Not a walk you would want to take. Otherwise, location is great! If you drive, you can park off the main road and use bus route 37 to get into Florence. Very easy to use.

The hotel was nice. The location of Hotel is splendid if you travelling by car. Because hotel about 12 km from town and 2km from bus stop.
If hotel provide shuttle bus would be great even twice a day with minimun guest. If you have no car it is unrecommend to stay. For taxi one way cost around euro 20-30

Charming with Room for Improvement
Spending three nights was nice, with fine views and a lovely wedding reception. The staff seemed detached, and the air conditioning struggled. Breakfast was lacking in variety. Be sure to address any needs promptly, as the location is remote, and shops are a good distance away.

The hotel had an excellent position. The scenery was breath taking. Close to Florence easy to get there by bus or car. The staff were very courteous and available. The rooms were lovely and have very particular decor. Overall it was a wonderful weekend.

Gorgeous location with view across to Florence. Very imaginative design of rooms, decor and furniture made it different to the usual boring hotel.
Intercom at main gate could have been clearer in terms of what was needed to gain access.

Fantastic location in the hills overlooking Florence, superb rooms, excellent breakfast and good food in the evening. We could not have asked for more.

Quiet country hotel with nice garden. Special because it is next to the church and the rooms are designed with an artistic flair. We liked the location, out of the city but close to it. Car parking is abundant within the hotel courtyard. The staff was very friendly and tried to serve us in the best way.
Very close to the hotel there is a electricity pilar. If not for anything else, it spoils the view.

Beautiful Tuscan landscapes surround the hotel.
The Wi-Fi was unreliable, difficult for my work. The bathroom had a terrible smell that staff were apparently used to. Lastly, the lack of staff presence made it hard to get help when needed.

Best! Good view from the top of the Tuscan hill. Clean and hip interiors with modern arts. The hotel is within the old church complex, has a beautiful garden, olive trees orchard, and a bell tower. When I was arrived the hotel at 11pm, there was a very elegant wedding banquet. Very romantic place even for honeymooners.
Not to far from the city center of Florence, about a 10-minute drive.

The lovely location features beautiful grounds and spacious parking. While the pool area was well-kept, the breakfast selection was disappointing, with stale pastries and limited fresh options. I experienced some discomfort from insect bites in the room, suggesting the need for better window screens.
